I've outfitted a vacation rental with Google Home automation including Google Assistants and Nest thermostats. I want to put the thermostats on Eco mode while the property is not rented and would like to schedule the rental periods via Google Calendar to turn on the heat/cool at the start of the calendar event and turn on Eco at the end of the calendar event.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for reaching out to us and welcome to the community! We appreciate making your home a Nest one. Let's work on this together.

Unfortunately, Eco Mode can only be set by the app, meaning you have to be in direct vicinity and that Google Assistant is unable to sync events from your account as it's unsupported on the thermostat as of now. We're happy to receive feedback and will be sending it to our developers.

Let us know if we can help you out with anything else.

I'm in the exact same position. Right now I have calendar alarms set up to remind me to go into Google Home and turn off Eco before guests arrive (after forgetting one, who showed up to a 50 degree house). My Nest app is connected to my Google Home app, and I can set temperatures by saying "OK Google" but can't seem to connect it to a calendar.
