Seasonal Savings

SEASONAL SAVINGS is a unwanted program that I cannot opt out of. I have turned auto schedule off, which should be enough of a hint that I don't want anyone else to change my schedules or temperatures on my nest. Still my schedule gets changed. How can I stop this from happening. I went to history and there is not an option to opt out. Is the only real option to remove the nest and get another thermostat?

I am unable to opt out with these instuctions.

To stop using Seasonal Savings

  • Nest app
    1. Open the Nest app.
    2. Tap your thermostat and select History

If Seasonal Savings is running, you will see how many days remain and a Stop button.

There is no number of days and no stop button in History.
What there should be is a SEASONAL SAVINGS on/off slider in options like for every other feature or even better a UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE DO I WANT NEST TO CHANGE THE TEMPATURE IN MY HOUSE on/off slider.

Hello Chris01,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries; we'll check this out. Just a few questions: Do you see a yellow gear icon with a leaf in the middle when the Nest thermostat changes the temperature? Have you checked the Energy History on the actual Nest thermostat to see if there is a gold ring on the temperature? If there aren't any, the Nest thermostat's learning feature is most likely the one causing your changes. Check out this link on how to disable the learning feature thermostat.

Thanks for the help, @MplsCustomer.

I look forward to your response.

Best,

Edmond

I have turned auto schedule off.
I received a message from "Seasonal Savings" That stated "Nest has finished adjusting your schedule".

Hi there,

Thanks for the information. Have you tried resetting the schedules after you turn off the Auto schedule? Here is a link on how to reset the schedule on Nest thermostat.

Regards,
Edmond
