Smart thermostat thinks there is a y2 plug in when there’s not

As the title says, the nest thermostat think there’s a y2 stage 2 cooling plugged in when there is not. I have reset to factory defaults twice and did the configuration through my app even omitting the y2 connection but thermostat still thinks there’s a wire there. It is running system on non existent stage 2 cooling and it’s heating my house doing this.

Hi ,

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry to hear that your thermostat is detecting a Y2 stage 2 cooling plugged in when there is not. I will do my best to assist you right now.

To get a better understanding of the situation, please help me out by answering the following questions:

  • What is the make and model of your HVAC system?
  • Can you please provide me a picture with your current thermostat wiring?

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.

Regards,

Gabriela
