I have a google nest thermo and we are unable to communicate with it. TD 030

We have one at the cottage...no issue. This one at home will not connect, and fails to ask many of the questions

we have updated software, rebooted everything, read this forum. No luck

will not work on apple or samsung

extremely frustrating - should not be this difficult

Hi timj1,

 

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

 

This error code means that the mobile device and your Nest (assisting device) are on two different Wi-Fi networks. Since you've already tried to troubleshoot, it is recommended to do a complete factory data reset on your thermostat. It is recommended that your Nest Thermostat and mobile phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network when setting up.
