Thermonstat Gen 3 - trouble with schedule and boost

We have a Nest thermostat. Gen 3. The heating (radiators) work fine - following the schedule etc.

We are having trouble with the water. The water is schedule is due to heat twice a day. But the afternoon is hit or miss whether it does (more often not). Sometimes the booster works and other times it doesn't.

We have had the heat link replace but this hasnt mended the issues.

I have factory reset the thermostat- but otherwise dont know what else to do.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi @Squorn

I'm really sorry to hear that. Could you please tell me if you have a separate valve for the heating and hot water, or you have just one handling both?

Also, could you please try to turn on the boost for hot water from the Nest app and tell me if you hear a click? You should hear 2 clicks, one when you turn on the boost and another one when you stop the boost.

Thanks, Larisa.

Thank you Lairsa. I switched the tank off at the breaker and everything seems to work 90% of the time now.

Thanks for letting me know. Just to confirm: you mentioned that it works 90% of the time, in what moments it is not working?
