Hello all,
Have scanned the forum and sorry couldn't find anything immediately the same as my probl so here goes!
Bought a nest e thermostats with e heat link. Thought the e link would be the challenging part but apparently no! I cannot connect the thermostat to my WiFi .
I have a virgin Hub 3 in Modem mode running to a Netgear Rax 10 acting as an AP. The thermostat is on my network and can see it's been allocated an address but I cannot get past the start in setup. TD008 (4060) is showing as the error on the nest app through a phone connected to the same network.
I have put everything on the 2.4ghz as I read it didn't work well on 5.
I forwarded the port recommended in the Google article but no joy. I then stuck it in the DMZ and still no joy.
Any suggestions welcome. Thank you!
Al

I am having the same issue - it never connects. It just shows an error saying "there was a problem adding the thermostat to your accoint. TD008 (4060)". Did you find a solution to this?

Hey, Sorry appreciate this is very late now. The workaround I eventually reached was that I also had a Nest Protect Alarm, I added that first (connected with no issues). I then got an optionto quick add the thermostat off the back of the Alarm data and it connected straight away. Silly I know, but seems like a time out issue on certain networks.
