Thermostat E

I'm being driven mad. New system, cameras and Protect all connect - thermostat e finds the Wi-Fi, it says adding to the account, then the screen in the thermostat goes back to the initial House icon and won't talk to the heat link or do anything at all.   This is the second brand-new one because I thought the first one was faulty.  What the hell is happening.

Thanks for reaching out in the community. I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties connecting your Nest Thermostat E to the Heat Link. No worries, help's here. To assist you better, can you tell me:

  • Are there any error codes or error messages on your thermostat or the Nest app?
  • What is the color of your Heat Link's light?
  • Is this a replacement thermostat display?
  • Please send me a picture of the thermostat display showing the error.
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far?

Having this information will make it easier for me to assist you and provide a solution.
