Thermostat appears in home app but not nest app

I recently installed a nest thermostat and it works perfectly and syncs with other nest and google products in the house, however, it does not appear in the nest app like the other three. (All same WiFi and all under the same account).

The new Nest thermostats only use the home app.

Thank you for the reply. That’s weird. The one I’ve had is a newer version and works in both the home and nest app. The one I’m running into trouble with is an original version. 

if nest is transitioning to purely the home app and this one is old enough to have been phased out / not updated, I wouldn’t be surprised was just hoping someone might know for a fact but that is interesting the new ones are no longer working with the nest app, only the g home.
