Thermostat connected to Wi-Fi but will not connect to Bluetooth

AnnieF

I recently bought an iPhone 13 Pro Max. The Google home app migrated to the new phone but the thermostat did not. I have added the thermostat to the Home app but when I get to the part where you pair it, the thermostat does not show up in my Bluetooth list. I restarted the thermostat. The thermostat shows that it is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network but it still doesn’t show up in my Bluetooth so I can’t connect it and cannot operate it from my app as it is not a connected device. I have googled this issue and done everything that I have been told to do and it still doesn’t show up in the Bluetooth list. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi AnnieF,

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

Once you're added your Nest Thermostat to your account, it doesn't need to have the Bluetooth connected with it. You'll need to get the entry code from the thermostat itself. Check out this link for the complete guide.

I hope it helps.

Best regards,

Ryan
