Hi folks - wondering if there's a way to control the nest thermostat from a web browser? Would like to be able to control it from my macbook pro somehow...

Go to home.nest.com and login. You can then control thermostat through your browser.

Hey,
@long-tee - I have tried this but when I login it doesn't show me my thermostat. I've tried on various browsers but they all just show the blue background but no thermostat is visible. It just shows my name + location in the top right and the central part of the page only says the name of my home/weather (alternates) and then "Add product" right below that, nothing else. Any ideas?

I would first make sure you’re logging into the same account that the thermostat is actually attached to. I’ve made that mistake before logging into the wrong Google account and wondering where my device was when it was actually attached to my other account. Other than that, not sure what to recommend. That website works for my devices.

Yeah, it's very odd. I've confirmed it's the same account/email that I use to log in (my gmail account) on my iOS app that works correctly. I actually opened up a ticket with Nest support and they had to escalate and said they'll get back to me.
