I have a Honeywell WiFi enabled Thermostat. All cables seems compatible but the red who connects the fresh air Intake. Talked to the installers and they say they don't install Nest nor they know if is compatible at all through the (*) symbol. Basically is a Red cable coming back with power to Furnace (this is what they told me).
I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. I found an article with more details on compatibility. Please let me know if you are still having any trouble from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.
Unfortunately this article didn’t help. I can send pictures or even do a video call. I really want to replace with Nest, just need help. Installer can’t figure it out.
Thank you so much for confirming that for me. Taking a look at the details provided, I don't have much information on the U wire on my end. I would recommend having a HVAC pro come out, and take a closer look. They would be able to ensure everything is set up properly.
