I have the temp set to 72 but every afternoon it goes up to 76. Works great other than that.

@T0B , The chances are that You have your ECO temperature set at 75°F. What is happening is you have your home and away feature probably turned on and when your phone leaves your home the system automatically goes into ECO mode.  As a workaround, if you do not want to use the features of economy (ECO) mode, You should disable HOME/AWAY in your settings.

I have the same issue where I set the temperature to 70 and it will go up to 76 on its own. I have ECO, home away, and auto schedule turned off. Doesn’t matter. Still happens all the time and it’s extremely frustrating. I wish I didn’t have this thermostat

@Perrin , we need to perform a proper system check to make sure that there’s a problem with the thermostat temperature sensor or if the problem is that your HVAC system is not properly charged with the refrigerant and that the air filter itself is not dirty or otherwise plugged up.

When was the last time that you had your system checked with a “tuneup “from an HVAC service company?
