I have had a Nest thermostat for several years and I have recently added a new thermostat to my basement where the bedroom are located. I was very excited to add the sensors to help regulate an average and comfortable temperature in both bedrooms.
After installing my thermometer and making sure it worked, I tried adding it to the NEST app. I was redirected to the Google home app. Ok, no big deal. However, when trying to add the sensors I was directed to the NEST app where my new thermometer does not appear. Long story short, I can't connect my sensors and I am terribly frustrated and thing Google sucks.
Please help me change my mind because up until now, I have been very happy with the NEST thermometer and app and I'm sure Google Home app is great, but this issue seems very negligent on Google's part to not think through all of these issues.
