I have a Nest Thermostat E that I inherited with the house. It took a while but I got it all working last winter. However, all summer I have been getting error notices that the thermostat couldn’t connect to the heat link. Then suddenly it would come back again, so they definitely are still both working. I thought I had fixed it when I moved a fridge from in front of the heat link, but today I have the same problem again. And soon I will need heat!
The thermostat is two floors below the boiler, but moving it up one floor hasn’t solved the problem, as well as being inconvenient for controlling the heating.
Any ideas?
