I've been using the Nest Learning thermostat 3rd Gen for a while now and have been enjoying it. The other week the device stopped connecting to the WiFi and I've been having issues ever since. I tired everything the help pages suggested and I went as far as buying a brand new Nest Router hoping that would solve the issue. Today, I contacted customer service and the recommendation was to just buy a new one. My warranty expired just a little over a month ago so I'm responsible for the full cost. I'm so mad that even after buying their router to solve this issue, there's nothing else Google can do.
Has anyone else delt with this? Any fixes that worked for you?

Hey kevin91,
Sorry for the late reply. Having the thermostat not connect to the WiFi is never ideal, and I wanted to ensure you are good to go. Please let me know if you still need any help, as I would be happy to assist further.
Best regards,
Jake

Even after several resets, there is no progress. Right now I've just been using it as a standard thermostat.
I was told by customer service that there was nothing else that could be done besides buying a new one. If there's any DIY methods the community has, I would be open to try them.
