Thermostat not connecting to nest app

The nest thermostat is connected to the home app. But it says it’s offline on the nest app. I tried on an android and a iPhone. Showing the same thing. I reset the thermostat. Also switched WiFi. Still not showing. Any other ideas?

@Bheiden1

The "Nest Thermostat" gets installed in the Google Home app and cannot be accessed from the Google Nest app.

The "Nest Thermostat E" and "Nest Learning Thermostat" get installed in the Google Nest app but once installed can also be accessed from the Google Home app.

I have the learning thermostat. It was connected to my nest app and stopped working today. But still works on the home app

@Bheiden1

The only suggestion I have is to delete and reinstall the Google Nest app.

I did that already. Weird. It didn’t help.

It even shows I’m online and connected to WiFi and also connected to a nest account on the thermostat.

 It shows the same on the internet and the app.

Over night when I got up. It was working. So who knows. It’s fixed and working now.
