Thermostat reading not moving as heat increases

AB71

My boiler is heating at full pelt but the thermostat is only showing 10 degrees and nothing stops the boiler apart from turning it off.

I can then restart the boiler and the thermostat will behave ok and then it will just heat at max while not effecting the temp on the thermostat.

I guess this has gone faulty. It’s less than 6 months old, Will the retailer will replace ??

is this a common fault ?

thanks

Hi AB71,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Nest Thermostat. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

  • How is your Nest Thermostat wired?
  • What does the display of your Nest Thermostat say when the boiler turns on?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Edward
