- I have factory reset

-router reset

-changed batteries

-switched locations (from upstairs to downstairs)

Can someone help me here?

Hi jxf5016,

Yikes! I'm sorry to hear that your thermostat thinks its 100 degrees in your room even though its not. Let me take a look at this for you. A few questions:

  1. When was the thermostat installed?
  2. Where did you install your thermostat? (in a room and on a wall or stand)?
  3. Do you have other active Nest thermostats? If yes, do they show the same issue?
  4. When did the issue start?
  5. How big is the difference between the readout of the Nest thermostat and your thermometer or other thermostats?

Also, do you have a room thermometer? If yes, take a photo of the thermometer next to the Nest Thermostat. Both the thermometer and thermostat screens should be visible in the photo and show the difference in each other’s readouts.

I'll look forward to your response.

Best,

Zoe
