Thermostat says its connected to wi-fi but my phone says its disconnected.

I have redone wi-fi connection on thermostat, phone still says its disconnected and won't recognize it so I still can't connect it to it

I'm sorry for the late response, but I wanted to hop in here to help. Sorry to hear about the confusion that is happening with the connection of your device, but I'm happy to look into this. 
 
Could you tell me the message showing on the Nest app? What phone are you using? Let's give these steps a try:

Important: You should remove your Nest Thermostat from your Nest account before using this option to reset Account Connection.
  1. Press your Nest Thermostat ring to open the Quick View menu.
  2. Choose the Settings icon.
  3. Turn the ring to Reset and press to select.
  4. Choose Account Connection.
  5. Add the Nest Thermostat back to your account.
