I recently bought a home with a nest thermostat. The thermostat reads “continue setup in the google home app” so I installed the app. However when I try to “add” a device, it shows all the types of devices. So I scroll down to the “nest” option. When I click it, it wants my email and password, which doesn’t work because I have never had a nest account.
I don’t know how to add the thermostat. Please help, I am unable to do anything on the actual thermostat touch screen until it’s setup in google home
