Too hot. Why is the range so large?

Why is the range so large? I set it to 66 and the range is then 66-71. 71 is way too hot! This unit should be able to set it for 2 degrees differential. I am not happy. Wish I would have returned it asap.

So I solved this partly by erasing the calendars and all of the data. Now I can set it to 66-69 all night. Learning thermostat my @$$. To ad to the mysteries. My December bill was 2.5 times higher than November when I bought this pos. It hasn’t been much colder. I’m suspecting all the times it ran itself up to 73. I had to get up multiple times to turn it down. Self learning thermostat? More like self learning owner. Delete your history and try again.
