I am struggling to add a family member to my Nest Thermostat app for a second thermostat named Guest Home. I do not want to link this thermostat to my Google Home and want to keep it separate from my second Thermostat that is linked to Google Home. The nest app gives me a message that I cannot add someone unless I’ve added it to the Google Home. I did not have this issue when it was set up a few years back. Why has this become so complicated. Do I now have to add them all to the Google Home. I’m not interested in having the Guest Home having access to my Google Home.
