I am in europe. Ireland.
I have my house plumbed for 2 zones with automated valves controlled by two thermostats.
All worked with thermostat control. Turn heating on for system and temp was set manually in each zone. Water was separate.
Going more automated and we bought a nest learning thermostat 2nd gen to replace our old climote.
It is now set up that the heat and water comes on controlled by the nest thermostat. The existing thermostats seem to have been over ridden or bypassed. That is fine however the zones are gone because of this. It has resulted in a better use of energy though keeping temps better.
However I would like to get the two zones back to make it more efficient.
What can I do to run a 2 zone and water system. Do I need a full new hub and thermostat installed or can two thermostats run on the same wifi hub?

Hello @Tobingj
We're so glad to see you here! I apologize for all this inconvenience, don't worry, I'm here to help you with that.
The short answer is probably that if you need more control over your hot water, you could install a new thermostat. But I highly recommend you contact a technician first to get more details about your system and determine what the best option is in your situation.
If you have any more questions about your Nest thermostat, feel free to keep posting. We're here to help.
Best regards,
Douglas.

Hi douglas. I don't need information about my system. I need information about Google nest being able to control 2 zones and what hubs can control.
What way is it designed to work?
Not a good answer passing it to a technician.

Hi @Tobingj
I apologize for the previous reply, let me do an explanation for this situation.
The Nest Thermostats was primarily designed for single-zone systems and the Google Hub can connect with your Nest Thermostat to adjust the temperature and request the hot water on the Nest thermostat itself and then view and adjust it through the Google Home app or your Google Hub.
Feel free to keep us posting if you have more questions.
Best regards,
Douglas.
