My 3rd Gen UK model with heat link is 3 years old and it stopped charging, dropping wifi and connectivity. Tech info showed good 12v on Vin but no charging. USB charging worked to bring it back to life for a couple of hours but no charging on the T1, T2 connection.
I borrowed components from a known working setup and just changing out the base fixed this. I need a new replacement base. Where can I get one?

Just been in touch with support. No spare bases are available. So out of warranty is considered non-serviceable even for a trivial cost fault.. Disappointing.

Hi @coulomb . I am sorry to hear you are facing this behavior from your device. I am glad to hear you managed to get in touch with my colleagues and sorry to hear the result.
We always want our products to last as long as possible. If after the troubleshooting process we determine that a replacement is needed, we're always happy to set one up within the warranty period. Out of that period the system does not allow us to set one up.
You can try to look for one at other retailers or sites such as Ebay, where you may find one or with a Nest Pro in your area, if any are available. However keep in mind that these parts don't have the same coverage as the ones from a full set of a unit purchased by us.
