Updated the nest app--can't change the temperature from my IPhone

After ignoring months of prompts to update my nest app, I finally did.  Now the app recognizes me, tells me the temperature outside my house, and knows I have one Nest thermostat, but I'll be damned if it lets me interact with the thermostat from my phone, at all.  Thermostat works just fine if you adjust it manually.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with controlling your Nest Thermostat using the Nest App. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

• What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
• Does the Nest Thermostat appear offline on the app?
