Have a Google Nest Thermostat and it stopped connecting to the wifi (which is on a google mesh network throughout my house) and flashes the W5 error message when I try to reconnect it.
I’ve done the hardware reset of the device itself, reset my router - even though it was running blazing fast all along - and still nothing. When I try to go into the Nest prompts to connect manually, it can’t find a single network, and when I type in all of the information manually, it’s still says “error.”
Please help, I have a 7 month old baby and need to be able to make sure the thermostat works to keep her room warm.
thanks,
DT

Hey MrDrewT,
Sorry to hear about your Nest thermostat but thanks for posting. I also appreciate that you've already tried those troubleshooting steps.
Could you provide a photo of your thermostat's display showing the code? Also, when and where was this bought as well as what country are you in?
Best,
Melba

Hello Melba,
I have sent you images from my desktop - the mobile version of this support portal does not allow for images to be included - please let me know if you are able to view them.
I am in the US, and purchased the Nest thermostat from my energy provider's website (PSE&G of New Jersey). You can see their site here: https://marketplace.pseg.com/smart-thermostats/.
