I wish I’d never got this product installed. I have an error code of W5 and I’ve tried all the things advised to do and it’s still not working. All I want is to talk to somebody to find out how I get a replacement. Please help

Which country are you in? How old is the thermostat?
You can talk to customer services, type in a search engine, and follow the instructions as detailed on here dozens of times. Better still, contact your installer.

@Janine2 ,
basically your nest thermostat comes with a one year warranty unless you utilize a nest pro installer. When you use a nest pro installer, your warranty is extended for three years. If you were within that warranty. You need only file warranty claim. If you’re outside of that Warranty. You’re only choice is to replace the unit with a new thermostat. The Nest Learning thermostat 4th is the latest product available.

That answer depends where you live, hence the question.
UK thermostats or any item come to that purchased in the UK , is covered by UK Consumer Law. Which in turn means any item such as a thermostat is covered for about 5 years, on an annual sliding scale.

Try these steps:
Troubleshoot a Nest thermostat W5 code - Google Nest Help
If you've already tried restarting the thermostat, or the issue persists after you try doing that, the best thing to do is contact the Google Nest support team directly.
Make sure you have the help code and your thermostat’s serial number ready to go before your call. To find your thermostat’s serial number, pull the display off the base and flip it over. The serial number is above the QR code on the back of the display. When you reach an agent, be sure to let them know you've already tried restarting your thermostat.
