Why does Nest say my system is not compatible?

Hello all, I need some help.

My house is less than a year old and I'm replacing a Honeywell U Lyric T6 Pro/TH6220WF2006.

The compatibility checker is saying that my system is not compatible with the Google Nest 3 learning thermostat I just bought. Everything seems straightforward, except for the two "S wires". Maybe that is what is throwing things off? Any help would be very necessary. Thank you all very much.

Hi DEVOE-IV,

Thanks for posting and for the photos.

Your system can be setup with the Nest Learning Thermostat to accommodate your system, but no need to connect both the S-wires.

Wires labeled S or S1 can be indicator lights or sensor wires. The Nest thermostat uses its LCD display instead of an indicator light and gets sensor information, like outdoor weather conditions, over Wi-Fi.

Best,

Mel
