what model thermostat are you putting in? Just zooming in on you pic (which is a good one) i'm pretty sure it will work your blue wire is probably the 24v if you have a meter you could check but the nest thermostat should walk you right through the proper wiring. if you have a problem feel free to reach out. thanks

My old thermostat has a jumper from r and rc, so what goes where in nest? I don't want to deal with c adapter

Beggsjb, you could go ahead and connect the current RC wire to RC or R terminal of your Nest thermostat. Take off the jumper wire as it won't be needed.
