Hey guys. I just bought the nest smart thermostat and was just wanting to ask if I did the wiring right.
My hold wiring setup on a Honeywell was Brown wire to C, Blue wire to B, Red wire to R,Green wire to G, Yellow wire to Y, White wire to AUX and black wire to E
This is how I wired it to the new nest. Brown wire to C, Blue wire to O/B, Red wire to Rh, Green wire to G, Yellow wire to Y1, white wire to w2 AUX, and black wire to *
Did I do this correctly and note I test the heat and it was blowing out cold so I went back to the equipment and change it to B not O

Post a picture with the original thermostat wiring.

It sounds like you have it set up correctly now. The preferences is the put the R wire from the Honeywell on the Nest Rc terminal. On a heat pump co figuration that is backwards, a call for heat will be Cooling and a call for Cooling will be heating. Do as you did and change the mode type for O to B and all will be good.

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out. Were you able to try changing the orientation of your Nest Thermostat, just like CoolingWizard mentioned? Please let us know if that helps.
I appreciate your help, @Patrick_Caezza, and @CoolingWizard.
Best,
Jenelyn
