Wiring Connections

I have only one red wire from my old thermostat. Do I need to create a jumper to wire to both RH and RC or can I just wire to one? I saw a post that seemed to imply wiring to one of those will work and that my Nest will provide power to both. Is that correct?

You only need a single red wire, and I recommend connecting it to the Rc terminal. The Nest will jump the Rh and Rc terminals together if required.
