I have a heating and ac system. The previous thermostat had a R, W, Y, G, C, and W2 wire. I never had any issues with the setup. The instructions found online said to connect the W2 wire to the O/B* connector on the Nest Thermostat. When I connected it this route, the ac noww turns on when the heater turns on and no hot air blows out. Anyone know what might be causing this. I dont think i have a heat pump and i think if i keep the W2 disconnected my AC wont work when the summer comes around. Any help woukd be appreciated.

Hi Nksniper,
Thanks for reaching out. I'd love to know more about this. Could you share a photo of your current thermostat's wiring?
Thanks,
Mel
