Wiring for Forced Air/heat pump

RobE

I had some issues when I first setup the wiring for the nest, but was able to get the A/C to work during the summer. Now that it’s winter I’m having issues blowing cold air when the heater is on. I made sure to open the valve on the heat pump and give it some time to run, but it still blows cold air. I have attached some pictures of the previous thermostat wiring, the nest wiring, and the heat pump unit for reference. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi RobE,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm a little confused about the wiring of your Nest Thermostat. If you have a heat pump, there should be a wire connected to the OB terminal of your Nest Thermostat. Could you share the labels where the wires are connected to on your previous thermostat?

Thanks,

Edward
