Hi All

I am trying to install my new google nest, I have tried using the compatibility , but I haven't had any luck.

I am converting from an old Honeywell thermostat that stopped linking to it's software.

the current system, I have a picture but can't upload it

C has a blue wire

Jumper from RC to U1

R has red wire

a second U1 has a brown wire

W has a white wire

Y has a black wire

G has a green wire

Y2 has a yellow wire

I hooked it up to my new nest that has the following y1, G, R, W1,C and O/B

Y1 has brown wire

G has green wire

R has red wire

W1 has white wire

C has blue wire

O/b has yellow

No place for black wire.

do I have the right thermostat for my wiring or advice on how to wire?

Thanks

Chuck

Thank you for reaching out to our support community! I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience with the wiring information, and I appreciate you taking the time to use the Compatibility Checker.

Based on this information, I'd like to share the correct way to connect the wires.

  • The red wire will be connected to the R terminal on the Nest Thermostat.
  • The blue wire will be connected to the C terminal on the Nest Thermostat.
  • The white wire will be connected to the W1 terminal on the Nest Thermostat.
  • The black wire will be connected to the Y1 terminal on the Nest Thermostat.
  • The yellow wire will be connected to the O/B terminal on the Nest Thermostat.
