Wiring nest thermostat

• I am trying to install my new nest thermostat in place of my old thermostat.  Following app. It then comes up and says I need professional installation.  I have a gas furnace with heat pump type system.  My neighbor has similar units and installed his own nest thermostat.  I can post picture of current thermostat wiring if anyone can help me.

Thanks for the photos and for posting.

Your wire label indicates an incompatible system.

These systems usually only work with thermostats made by the same manufacturer. But some incompatible systems may also have the option to use standard heating system wires. Contact a local pro and have them check if your system can be rewired to be Nest compatible.
