Wiring puzzle

Help please. I just switched out to a nest thermostat but the wiring really confused me.
Original system:

Black wire to C, Red wire to R, No wire to B, Orange wire to O, Blue wire to W2, Green wire to G, Grey wire to E, Yellow wire to Y1, White wire not connected

This is how I wired the Nest (learning) Yellow wire to Y1, Green wire to G, Orange wire to OB, Red wire to Rc, Blue wire to W2 Aux, Black wire to C, White and Grey wires not connected.

Hi SZS,

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum and for showing interest in our Nest Thermostats. Please help us with a photo of your old thermostat wiring configuration, showing a clear configuration of how the thermostat wires are connected to it, so we can determine its compatibility with our Nest Thermostats.

You may use our Compatibility Checker tool yourself to determine if a Nest Thermostat is compatible with your heating and cooling system.

I'll look forward to your response.

Best,

Zoe

Hi there,

Got it! Fortunately, your thermostat wires are compatible with our Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd generation and should be wired to the Nest Learning Thermostat as shown:

Also, here's a guide for the installation and setup of a Nest Learning Thermostat

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Zoe
