Your account can't be migrated. You have a Works with Nest connection that isn’t supported by Google

I am trying to migrate my nest account to google. When I try to do that I get the following error "Your account can't be migrated. You have a Works with Nest connection that isn’t supported by Google".

 

However, the "works with nest" button does not exist any more under settings, and it's impossible to "disconnect all your Works with Nest connections" or find whatever works with nest connection I have?

How do I disconnect whatever connection I have so that I can migrate?

You have a Works with Nest connection that isn’t supported by Google.

To migrate your account now, disconnect all your Works with Nest connections and try migrating again in Settings.

Hi ggib03,

Thanks for posting and sorry to hear about the migration issue. I can help! Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try if you're unable to complete the migration process:
 

  1. Remove this thermostat from the Nest App
  2. Perform a Factory Reset on your thermostat to remove the paired account. Here you have the steps to Restart or reset a Nest thermostat.
  3. Sign out of your Account in the Nest App
  4. Sign back in > Select Google Account
  5. Set up the thermostat in your new account.
  6. After completing it, you'll see the thermostat in the Nest and Google Home App. (Only make sure to use the same email address in both apps).
