add a room

How do I add a room?  The nest app says I don't have any rooms yet, but I can't find where to add a room.  When I go to settings and select "rooms and groups", I get a blank screen with the word "Rooms" and not options to add, delete, edit or anything else.

In that rooms screen, do you see a + symbol?
