Hi,
I have tried resetting my Nest Learning Thermostat (multiple times) - I’ve reset the network, the device, my router and nothing is fixing the problem.
Whilst the thermostat is adjusting the temperature, it’s not connecting to the network to enable distance adjustment of the heating. Please can somebody help!

I'm having the same issue. It won't add a second thermostat...did you figure out how to fix it?

Hi! No luck so far! We are able to use the thermostat to adjust the temperature etc… but only physically on the thermostat itself. Rumours are Google had issues with a batch of this stock and I feel like mine must be one of the dodgy ones!

I just fixed mine! I scrolled to software version. The latest is 6.1, I noticed the one that wasn't connecting was version 6.0. I updated the software on the device, I reset the nest app, I tried to connect and boom it did! Good luck on your end! Hope this works for you my friend! Oh! I changed the network it was on as well.

However I think it was the software not what network it was on. I will probably change the network back to where I want it.

How did you manage to update the software, when not connected to the network?? Mine also has the w5 error and can’t see any networks…

My apologies. I did not have a W5 error. I couldn't sync the nest app to the new install. After resetting the thermostat I just connected to my wifi with no issue. Again sorry for the confusion.

Exactly my problem Lisa! I assume a software update would work (as mine isn’t on the lastest firmware) but I can’t update without internet connection!
