electric heat pump system wiring compatibility with Nest thermostat

I have wires connected to C, O, B, W, Y, G, RC (jumper to RH). Would this work? The Google compatibility says no. Thanks, Screenshot 2022-12-01 091459.jpg

Hello jaichee,

Thank you for reaching out with your thermostat wiring diagram. Let's dig in to see its compatibility with the Nest.

It appears that you have a heat pump system with separate O and B orientations. Could you tell us the make and model of your HVAC system?

I'll look forward to your response.

Best regards,

Mark

It's one of these by Goodman. GSX13, GSX14, GSX16,  GSZ14, GSZ16. Sorry but I don't know which exact one.

Hi jaichee,

Thanks for that and sorry for the delay. I suggest reaching out to a Nest Pro to discuss your options on rewiring your system to be Nest Thermostat compatible.

Best,

Mel

I ended up getting a Pro1 wifi thermostat to replace the current Pro1. It's a super easy swap and required basically no work. Thanks to all.

Hey there jaichee,

Awesome — glad to hear that your issue is fixed. It looks like we can consider this one complete, so I will lock the thread shortly unless I can help out with anything else.
