factory reset without base?

I have two new NEST gen 3 thermostats.  set them both up, one upstairs and one down.  Two separate systems.  They worked fine for 3 weeks and all of a sudden the one downstairs says it can't find the heating and cooling wires.  tried connecting them again, still nothing.  Took the one that worked upstairs, and put it on the base downstairs, no issues.  took the one that didn't work, put it upstairs, and it doesn't work there either.  tried rebooting it, still the same.  when i plug in the nest to the base, it just says it cannot control the system and gives me E75.  I would like to factory reset it, to see if that helps, but it does not give me the option and I had already taken it off the app on my iphone to see if i could re-install using the QR code on the inside of it.  HELP!

Hi brysk,

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

It's a good thing you've tried it on a working base from the other thermostat. Could you try charging it using a USB charger for at least an hour? Once charged, try to put it back into the working base from the other thermostat. If possible, try to do a complete factory data reset.

Let me know how it goes by replying to this thread.

Best regards,

Ryan
