Hey georgep,

Sorry to hear you are still having trouble. I would be more than happy to help out and see if we can get you up and running. Taking a closer look at the picture sent, you will want to ensure that the Nest Thermostat does not have any jumper wires.

I would like to double-check to be on the safe side. Do you happen to know if the system is a heat pump? I am showing a separate orange wire connected to the O. If this is the case, there is a chance your B wire might be a C wire instead. I would recommend reviewing this article as it should help you identify if that is a C wire or not. Please let me know if that helps.

Best regards,

Jake

My system does not have a heat pump.   The system has two thermostat for different parts of the home.    The one in question is the main.   The other the secondary and I have a nest running on that wiring which has less wires.

Hey georgep,

I am sorry for the late reply. If that is the case, I would recommend having a Nest Pro come out and take a closer look. They would be able to review your system and ensure everything is set up properly. I understand that this is no the most ideal solution, but without being there in person, it does make it hard to find the problem.

Best regards,

Jake
