how to turn off all nest auto settings and eco

Nest Thermostat. My eco is OFF. I have a schedule set for hours of operation. The thermostat constantly changes my settings and turns on Eco mode. Is there something we can do to stop this?!

I set it to 72 degrees, I go out, an hour later it goes back to 75, 77... this is insane! I feel like I'm fighting with a ghost.

Any help is appreciated.

You have to turn off Home/Away Assist if you do not want it to override your schedule when it thinks you're not at home.

I had a similar problem and I had to clear the temp schedule that nest automatically sets. Maybe you have conflicting schedules? I too was going crazy constantly fighting with temp settings, so frustrating! I just looked at my thermostat to tell you how I cleared my schedule but can’t recall the steps. I found the steps on YouTube.com. There are a lot of tutorials for Nest on YouTube. Go to YouTube.com, type a simple description of your problem and you’ll find a video showing you how to fix it! Hope this helps, good luck!

Unfortunately NOTHING works. I’m thinking of throwing this crap in the garbage

I read somewhere here that a few people have reset their thermostat to factory settings and it worked. Don't use the phone app, use the actual thermostat. Just a suggestion! Sounds like since Google took over Nest things have gone haywire! I hate Google! I've thought about changing mine too. If you've got $ invested, try resetting 1st! Best of luck to you!
