m15 Error after multiple reset attempts

Hi,

I am back,  I still have a problem with my nest thermo stat.

I have done multiple reset attempts, and my nest thermostat cannot find the wifi in the house.

I have tried resetting the device, restoring it to factory setting and starting over.

None of these have made a difference.  I have checked voltages.

Is it just broke?  I am moving in permanently in two weeks, so if I need to buy a new one I can.

Thanks,

Fixeshousestuff

I forgot, I have seen two errors m15 and W5 depending on when I look at the device.

Hey Fixeshousestuff,

I'm sorry to hear about your Nest thermostat but thanks for trying those steps already.

A few questions — what specific Nest thermostat is this? When and where was it bought? Also, what country are you in?

Melba

Hi,

It was bought in 2019 from Home Depot in Pleasantville NY.  I am in the USA, and the thermostat is in Orleans, VT at our farm house.

I am moving there on 8/17 permanently.

I think it is a gen II but am not sure.

Hey there,

Gotcha and thanks for this added information. Could you fill our this form and let me know once you're done: https://goo.gle/3BICUaB
