I have two different Homes on my Google Home app (Home 1 and Home 2), and my Nest Learning Thermostat appears in Home 1. I want to migrate it to Home 2, where it is physically installed. The "Device Information" screen has the Home location grayed out, so I cannot select it to change Homes.
Can anyone help me do this without deleting the thermostat and setting it up all over again?
Thanks!

You can't change the home of a thermostat unfortunately. Not sure how many other devices you have in Home 2 but could you move those to Home 1 instead? If not, you will need to reset the thermostat and set it up in Home 2 if you want all devices to be in the same home.

Thank you, David. This is not the news I wanted, but it saves me a lot of wasted time poking around.
Moving the other devices should not be that hard.
I appreciate your help.

No problem at all. I’d encourage you to also send this feedback directly to Google. You will not receive a response, unless Google need more details from you, however the team are still reading the feedback.

I will do that. Thanks again.

Hi BazzaD,
Please be assured that our product team is working non-stop with different partners to bring the best to the Google Nest devices. So, please let our product team know about it by sending feedback. Currently, the best option to move one Nest Thermostat from one home to another is to factory reset it, then remove the Nest Thermostat from the home structure where it was added. After that, you may proceed with adding your Nest Learning Thermostat to the home structure you prefer.
In the meantime, I'll go ahead and lock this thread within 24 hours. If you run into any more questions in the future, please feel free to create a new thread.
Thanks for your help, @David_K.
All the best,
Zoe
