nest thermostat

thermostat is on lock and it came with the house and I have no pin and it says to enter pin

Sorry for the delay but thanks for reaching out. 

What type of Nest thermostat is this? Have you tried reaching out to the original owner to get the pin as this is the easiest route to take? If you did but to no avail, do you have access to a computer?
