I'm trying to re-add a thermostat (1st Gen) to my Nest App, and when in the "Enter Key" stage, it shows me a number pad. But the first character of the Key shown on the thermostat is a LETTER!
It seems that it requires the first three characters to be numbers, and then switches to the QWERTY mode.
How do I get around this? Thanks!

I'm not sure exactly how I resolved this, but one way or another, I was able to add the thermostat.
I would delete this post but it doesn't seem possible.
