Between seasons I would like to run the fan for 15 minutes every hour for circulation purposes. By doing so I can access early morning cool air as well as overnight decreasing temps without the need for the heat pump or ac unit. The naturally occuring late night and early morning temps "could" reduce my systems need to catch up to my preset temperature settings. I have an additional exhaust option on my HVAC unit that allows me to replace inside air with the cooler temps that naturally occur during both the late night and early morning hours . I have a gen 3 thermostat. What is the process for turning off both heat and cool cycles and running the fan only?

Hi there,
Thanks for posting here in Community. Yes, you may turn on the fan without the need to activate your heat pump or AC. You can check this article on how to activate it.
Keep us posted. We're happy to help.
Thanks,
Zoe
