thermostat wiring

 I have 4 wirers   2 wirers for power 24 volts separate from boiler and 2 wirers for trigger for heat where do I hook wp each wirer

My setup seems similar: I've been using R and W from boiler, and C and Rc from external.
(Full disclosure: it worked fine for almost 2 years, stopped working this week. Pretty sure it's the nest itself.)

@zimmermann8, please send us a picture of your thermostat's wiring diagram so we can determine how it can be labeled.

@regleleu, I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you. To isolate: could you tell us more about what happened? Are you getting any wiring reports or message codes? Also, have you tried the steps in this guide?
