I installed my nest, everything was fine then stopped working.  It started saying error on my phone app then went complete dead, can someone help.

We need more information to help you best.  
1. what is the model of your nest thermostat? Nest? Learning thermostat or basic thermostat.

2. Please post the picture of the old thermostat wiring base before you disconnect the wires.

3. Post a picture of the Nets backplate showing where are you attach the wires.

4. You can remove the display, turn it over, and and charge it for 24 hours of using the USB connector on the back
